Acceptable use
A careful tool
needs careful inputs.
Keep people, private images, and shared capacity in mind when you use the detector.
Allowed uses
- Checking an image you have a right to submit for your own preliminary review.
- Explaining a result with its limits to a colleague, editor, or community.
- Using the on-screen result as one input while you verify the original source and context yourself.
Do not use it to
- Identify, profile, harass, threaten, or discriminate against a person.
- Make a high-stakes authenticity, identity, copyright, transaction, or safety decision by relying on a result alone.
- Upload unlawful, exploitative, or private content without an appropriate lawful basis.
- Bypass quotas, automate bulk requests, probe the API, or disrupt the service.
Report a concern
Keep the request ID and a short description. Do not send the disputed image again unless the support process specifically asks for it and the policy allows it. A real contact route will be published before production use.
